Cheney Beetles

In May 2025, Ivan Wright from Shotover Wildlife worked with Year Sevens to survey the beetles which visit Cheney School's site.

We discovered an incredible range of beetles and other creatures and Ivan kindly identified all the beetles found and mounted them for us.

They are on display as part of our 100 Years of Childhood Exhibition, in the section exploring Nature and Childhood on the Ford Corridor.
