Moss at Cheney

In March 2026, sixth formers carried out a small moss survey with Dr Oli Prescott from the British Bryological Society and found six types of moss: Bryum capillare, Brachythecium rutabulum, Hypnum cypressiforme, Kindbergia praelonga, Orthotrichum affine, and Tortula muralis.

These are dried out and on display in our nature cabinets in the Ford Corridor.
