We are delighted to be hosting the Warneford 200 Exhibition at the Rumble Museum from Wednesday 6th May to Friday 5th June.
Step into 200 years of mental health care history in Oxfordshire and trace the story of the Warneford Hospital from its early 19th-century beginnings to its role today at the heart of mental health care and research. Presented by Oxford Health Charity and curated by the University of Oxford’s History of Science Museum, the exhibition is touring venues across Oxfordshire throughout the year.
Alongside the Warneford 200 Exhibition itself, Year Eight Museum Council students have been turning lockers into an exhibition inspired by sources from the exhibition. Visitors can also visit their display at the Rumble Museum if they would like to take a look!
Since we are located in a busy school, people are not able to drop in, but if you would like to book to visit the exhibition, please email Dr Lorna Robinson, Rumble Museum Director, and she can arrange a time slot for your visit.
